Ever get the feeling that life is just one big cosmic joke after another? Everyone else gets what you can't and they are probably laughing gently at you and your ineptness. You loose something only to have it seem like everyone else got it instead. Everyone probably thinks you have it so easy and semi perfect. They forget the fact that we scrap this meager existence by on one income and it only looks perfect because we pay a pittance in rent and would be literally up shit's creek if not for that.

It sucks to think you can't survive on your own ( technically I could just probably not as a couple). And then see some of the things you want happening all around you and you can't do a thing. Why do I have to be the responsible one? Because I always am? Well, that's lame.

Some of you don't know how lucky you have it. I know a couple right now that have been married for roughly 5 fives (married early) and been together twice that long (highschool). He graduated college in 08 a year after I did. He also graduated with honors..the bastard. Now, I don't knock his achievement but I am a tad resentful that a slack ass like him got it. We went to the same school (not at the same time) and have the same major except he concentrated in something different.
The difference you might ask? I have worked e35+ hrs a week since graduating from highschool and probably before then, too. While I was in college I was working to support myself and pay rent as well as for school. I was always studying in my free time and only occasionally spent some time drinking.
This joker worked a half ass job part time while his wife worked a full time position at Siemens (call-desk). He is also an avid video game player and enjoyer of alcohol and other substances. See why I am peeved a bit. Then right after graduation he gets a 9-5 job with his best buddy. And during the previous year they had also bought their first home.
Now, she doesn't have a degree but is working for it online, or she was because as of last December they decided to stop birth control and see if they would get lucky. and of course they were. They have a baby girl due in March.

la di da and all he can say is she loves being pregnant and he's glad he finally has come to enjoy doggy style....gah sometimes as much as I love my friends they just make me want to hurl.
